  40.  As I have a friend who is a retail dealer of Amigas and PC's - I have done
  41. some installation and testing on *various* Amiga systems.

  43.  Based on my knowledge about Amigas I can only make one simple comment:

  45. If your Amiga crashes then you *have* *not* _installed_ your software.

  47.  Maybe you were running "Tracker *This*", "Hacker Game *That*" and "PD-ware
  48.  *Spam*" ??
  49.   Does _any_ system *WITHOUT* memory protection handle these things well?

  51.  Ever compared OS/2 and the AmigaOS?
  52.  If you do; you will find that the AmigaOS matches up pretty well apart from
  53.  two things:
  54.   1) Memory Protection is only used *during* *serious* debugging,
  55.      (Because the required _hardware_ isn't a "Standard-Amiga" component)
  56.   2) DOS-compatiblity missing
  57.     (Thou you can run a bunch of Soft & Hard PC-emulators).

  59.  If you prefer MacOS, you can run that too;
  60.   And it runs *faster* than the original - isn't that strange?
  61.   (Several diffrent available, at least one is PD *and* good)

  63.  You can run unix too:
  64.    Linux is available (haven't tried that yet, but it is tempting).
  65.    FreeBSD also available.
